Perfectly primitive, Bettina sits about 21" tall. I made her from a Pineberry Lane pattern. She's been painted and distressed and rubbed all over with cinnamon. She features button eyes, a hand-stitched mouth, and wears an osnaburg dress and a checked jumper with a frilled bottom trim. Her pet crow hangs from a string around her neck.
Eggplant is one of the first dolls I ever made and I just love her! She's made from a Lakeview Primitives pattern and is about 25" long. She's wearing a coffee-stained muslin shirt, checked underskirt and sheep patterned overskirt. Her hair is knotted homespun and she's been painted black, distressed, and rubbed with cinnamon. She has button eyes and a string smile.
Ninny stands about 15" tall and I made her from a Pineberry Lane pattern. She is painted black and distressed and features handstitched eyes and mouth and wool hair. Her osnaburg dress is heavily coffee-stained and has a rusty bell in the center. Her wool overskirt is tied with string and has a wool pocket with a bit of sweet annie tucked inside. She is weighted on the bottom to help her stand alone.
Based on a "My Raggedy Kids" pattern, this great doll is 24" tall. She features real wool hair tied with homespun bows and wears a prim checked dress and a cheesecloth apron tied with string. She's been painted and grunged to perfection. Love her fingers!
