Portland was close enough to drive so I was finally able to bring along some furniture to use as display props. That's my wonderful sister, Col, who took the time out from her very busy schedule, to help me set everything up and then to help me in my booth.

One of the best things about attending Market is having a chance to network with people who share your passion. This amazing group of ladies are a few of the Canadian designers/teachers who met in Portland for pizza and wine and an evening of great stories, group support, and lots of laughter.

The people I meet are the best part of exhibiting at quilt shows. These crazy ladies from Vulcan, Alberta came through my booth and made us all laugh. They loved my Turkey Pot Pie pattern so much they each made one and sent me the photo. Thanks Vicky, Brenda, Terrie, and Jackie!
